At Devil is in the Detail, all of our ceramic coating services include a level 1 paint correction service that helps remove minor surface imperfections. This restores your vehicle's original gloss and surface clarity overall. If your vehicle requires more intensive defect removal, we also offer an upgrade to a level 2 paint correction service, of which can be discussed during your booking.   • Will a ceramic coating protect my vehicle’s paint from getting damaged?

    No it will not. While the coating is more scratch resistant, it is not scratch proof! We like to establish this fact from the start of your appointment. Ceramic coatings at Devil is in the Detail are not designed to protect your vehicle from scratches. While they do create a slick, smooth surface, they do not prevent physical surface damage or defects like scratches, nicks, and scrapes. However, they do help prevent contamination buildup and can also resist stains. This can keep your vehicle looking newer and cleaner for far longer periods, making detailing maintenance less frequent and easier to manage by yourself, or us.


    Many dealerships or installers will over-promise what a coating is capable of doing, which, in turn, gives a bad name to what they are designed for. We prefer a more honest and straightforward approach.
